Voice Signature

Legal

The strongest support for the legal effectiveness of voice signatures comes from the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-Sign), which defines an electronic signature as a "sound, symbol or process, attached to or logically associated witha contract or record." In addition to E-Sign,courts have long accepted tape recordings as evidence of a person's statements or actions, and this legal precedent provides considerable support for the use of Voice Signature technology.
