Security

Voice Signature archives are different than archives created with other electronic signature tools. With Voice Signature, archives are “self contained,” meaning that they don’t rely upon the strength of special vaulting processes or special software in order to be effective. Voice Signature archives are very portable, in that they can be passed from one owner to another without affecting the validity of the signature(s).

Each archive has one or more Signature Certificates, which explains the Voice Signature process. The certificate includes technical and legal information about the signature process, together with instructions to help an expert evaluate the connection between the voice recording of the signer and the particular records being signed.

Processing

Voice Signature processing occurs in a state of the art data center with fully redundant network operations capabilities and 24 x 7 x 365 monitoring. All interaction with the site occurs through SSL protected channels. Access to the data center is restricted by two factor authentication barriers plus continually monitored closed-circuit cameras trained on all entrances and common areas 24x7x365. Also, motion sensitive cameras are installed throughout the facility.

Archives

Unlike other electronic signature providers, all of the signature records associated with a particular Voice signature transaction can be downloaded by the user and the signer(s) and stored on local desktops or servers. In addition, three copies of voice signature records are stored. The primary and backup copies of archives are stored in the Voice Signature data center. An additional copy is stored within the data centers maintained by Amazon.com as part of their Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3).
